An antique Persian Tabriz, handwoven rug, approximately 6''4'' x 4''6'', dating from the late C19th (C1870 - 1890). This old rug has a faded red field of vines with central indigo coloured medallion, framed by spandrels and enclosed by meandering vine borders. A hand knotted, rug with short medium pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.A well worn in old rug, full of charm and character, lots of aged wear but still ready for use.Dimensions:This rug measures approximately 193 cm long including fringes, and 138.25 cm wide.Condition:Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in original, well worn, aged condition.
