A fabulous antique Tibetan rug, hand woven circa 1900. The design features eight large lotus flowers connected by scrolling vines and foliage. A wonderful red field and some stunning secondary colours of pink, gold, green and blue. These rugs are becoming harder and harder to find.
Size: 1.54m x 0.78m (5ft 1in x 2ft 7in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier on the ends (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
