Description

Late 19th century Chinese bronze censer,c1880. Of unusual form it is presented as a boat/junk. The bow of the boat is in the form of a phoenix/mythical bird, the detachable top (where you would place the incense) is capped with a dragon finial and it stands on raised feet. It is well cast with fine detail to the Phoenix head, feathers etc. The bronze has taken on good colour/patina and condition is good.
