Description

A pretty Malayer runner, handwoven in the late 19th Century with an all over Herati design on a deep indigo field and ivory border. There is a date and signature (Haj Arsem Ali, 1310 - equivalent to 1893) in the border along with some interesting birds and animals!

Size: 2.95m x 1.01m (7ft 8in x 3ft 4in)

This rug is in good condition with medium, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
