Description

An antique Mahal Persian rug, approximately 6'10" x 4'4", Circa 1900. This rug has a faded indigo coloured field with central medallion surrounded by vines, enclosed by spandrels and borders of plants. A hand knotted rug with short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

An attractive old rug, full of charm and ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 207.5 cm long including fringes, and 136 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in an overall reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age. The pile is worn, quite low but mostly even. A little wear to the fringes, and freying to the edges. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
