An antique Mahal Persian rug, approximately 6''10'' x 4''4'', Circa 1900. This rug has a faded indigo coloured field with central medallion surrounded by vines, enclosed by spandrels and borders of plants. A hand knotted rug with short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

This rug measures approximately 207.5 cm long including fringes, and 136 cm wide.
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in an overall reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age. The pile is worn, quite low but mostly even. A little wear to the fringes, and freying to the edges. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
