An Oil Painting on board of the back of a nude by Colin Moss, 30th April 1914 - 16 December 2005.. It is signed to the top left and is in the original frame. Colin Moss was born in Ipswich, Suffolk, and studied at the Plymouth School of Art from 1930 - 1934 under Gilbert Spencer and Charles Mahoney. After the war he took up a post at The Ipswich School of Art. He held one man exhibitions at The Kensington Art Gallery in 1951 and at The Zwemmer Gallery in 1955 which led to several national collections acquiring examples of his work. He frequently exhibited at The Royal Academy and The Royal Watercolour Society.
