Japanese Vintage (1940s) Cast Iron Teapot (Tetsubin) in a traditional hobnail design, signed on the underside. Measures 13cm diameter, height 8cm, weight 1kg.

The teapot is particularly adept at keeping the tea hot for long periods. The teapot’s capacity is 600ml, the perfect size to serve 1-2 standard cups or many small cups in gong fu style. The robust teapot can also be used as a kettle on a gas or wood burning stove to boil water.
