Description

An antique Persian Hamadan, handwoven rug, approximately 8'3"x4'10", Circa 1930. This old rug has a red field stylised flowers, central medallion, enclosed by repeating floral borders. A reasonably deep, hand knotted village type rug, with selvages to both ends and one end with contemporary fringe. Wool pile and foundations.

A charming old rug, heavily faded but in good condition and ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 252 cm long including fringes, and 148 cm wide.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in an overall good condition, commensurate with its age. Heavily faded, see pictures. New fringe stitched into one end. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
