This is a beautiful, good quality Saroukh carpet dating from around 1900. In soft wool, the carpet is finely drawn with a lovely deep, soft pile and has a pleasingly smart design. The stepped pole medallion in a warm red field is enclosed by deep floral borders in ivory and russet red. This carpet is in fabulous condition throughout and would bring great warmth to a room.

It is a great room size measuring 355 cms by 268 cms.
