Description

An antique Persian Afshar, handwoven rug, approximately 7'7" x 5', dating from the early C20th. This old rug has a blood red field with 5 stepped medallions, enclosed by narrow borders. A hand knotted tribal rug with medium pile, and long fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

A charming old rug, in good condition and ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 232 cm long including fringes, and 153 cm wide.
