Afghan Tekke Bukhara small rug or mat, approximately 2'8" x 1'8", Circa 1940. This handwoven rug with red coloured field, Triple column of tekke guls, enclosed by multiple repeating borders. A handwoven deep and soft pile. Long fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

Dimensions:

This rug measures approximately 81 cm long including the fringes, and 51 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonable good condition, commensurate with its age. Some minor blemishes. A good regular shape. Wear to both fringes.
