Description

An antique Chinese, Peking handwoven dragon rug, approximately 5'9" x 3'1", Circa 1910. This old rug has a navy blue coloured field, with central dragon medallion, and dragon spandrels, Cream coloured floral border. A hand knotted, rug with medium pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations.

An attractive old rug, with some flaws but full of charm, ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 176 cm long including fringes, and 94 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonably good condition, commensurate with its age. The underneath sides have been reinforced with carpet tape. A few historic extinct spots of moth damage to the pile, see pictures. Now fully treated, plus vacuumed, cleaned and deodorised. Ready for everyday use - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
