This is a beautiful hand woven Arts and Crafts carpet dating from around 1920

The soft woollen carpet was made by the Tetex company and has a glorious colour palette featuring multiple pastel coloured stylised motifs set within a warm ivory field surrounded by chartreuse green deep borders. Tetex were renowned for the quality and design of their carpets which were made in the early 20th century. This carpet has a beautiful stylised design featuring vases of flowers and multiple flower heads. The colours are a true delight and quite rare to find in these shades. It is a tufted hand woven carpet and yet has an incredibly soft handle and luxurious feel.

This is in excellent condition and looks fabulous down. It is a great room size measuring 334 cms by 254 cms.
