Antique Pair of Baluch Saddlebags with Bird Design, Circa 1900/20.

Description

Size: 5ft 1in x 2ft 1in (156 x 63cm).

Antique Baluch complete khorjin (pair of saddle bags).

Circa 1900/20.

This really outstanding Khorjin has wonderful soft wool with great colours, the design is the well known 'bird' or 'cockerel' design. Note the single red bird on each face. The bags are complete with the decorative striped plain weave backs.

Excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile.

Hand washed and ready for display.
