Hepplewhite Mahogany Framed Sofa

Description

An elegant serpentine shaped sofa in the Hepplewhite style, probably made in the late 19th Cent.

The frame is in mahogany and it stands on 8 molded legs and is a very pleasing shape. The under lying upholstery is in pretty good condition but the covering fabric is a bit worn and marked and needs replacing.

Structurally it is sound but has the usual nocks and scuffs consistent with age and use.

The maximum dimensions are:

208cm(82") wide

84cm(33") deep

95cm(37.5") high
