They are of lovely quality and have stunning inlaid marquetry of various woods. There are superb decorative ormolu mounts throughout, and they have a gorgeous, curvaceous design. The thick off white marble tops are serpentine shaped to match the fronts of the chests.
We have had these recently re-polished, they are in very good condition for their age, with some minor wear here and there remaining beneath the polish in places.
