The leather top is gold tooled and hand coloured, there are also brass handles on the sides and this sits on bracket feet. The proportions are lovely, a good size with lots of storage space, yet not too deep from front to back, so is not too imposing.
This has acquired a gorgeous colour and patina over the years. We have recently had it re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
