This huge antique chest has a beautifully shaped top with concealed hinged top and two cushion drawers above four graduating figured flamed mahogany drawers with beautifully turned walnut handles and mother of pearl inlays. This stunning chest has quality carved corbels and stands on beautifully turned bun feet. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of bees wax finishing.
