This fine period Mahogany chest has a beautifully figured rectangular top with moulded edge above four graduating oak lined cock beaded drawers with decorative brass handles. These delightful drawers stand on shaped bracket feet, they have stunning sunburst inlays along with boxwood string inlay around the edges. It has wonderful charm, character and minor old repairs as you would expect to see with a genuine antique and the Mahogany has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
