Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Regency era.
Beneath are four full length doors with key with working locks, pilasters and delightful neoclassical brass decorations. The doors have neutral mesh fronts with upholstered backs and the whole piece stands on a break fronted plinth and each interior has one shelf. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
