Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Four long drawers with moulded edges, the drawers being oak lined with the base boards going from front to back, original iron locks and original brass swan neck handles.

The whole piece is a wonderful colour with deep original patination. There are one or two old veneer repairs but basically this is a very nice early mahogany chest of drawers that is a good neat size and a lovely colour.
