A fine 19th-century brass-bound campaign secretaire chest of drawers in richly figured mahogany, complete with working key. The upper section features three drawers, one concealing a fitted secretaire interior with drawers, compartments and a leather-lined writing surface. Below are three graduated drawers fitted with recessed brass military handles. Presented in excellent condition with a rich colour and beautiful patina, this handsome chest combines practicality, craftsmanship and timeless appeal.
