Large 19th-Century Antique Portrait Oil Painting Female Brunette (2 of 2)

Brief Description:

This is a large, wonderful, mid-19th-century Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting depicting a young, pretty brunette female who is standing within an extensive landscape setting, with a fresh water jug and a small yellow flower in one hand.

Note: This is one of a matching pair of paintings we are selling by the same artist - please see our other listings.

It is a beautifully painted scene with excellent attention to detail to both the surrounding woodland and the ladies' facial features.

Mounted within the original 19th-century, heavily scrolled gesso frame.

The painting is offered in an overall exceptional original condition.

The period frame is very presentable, but there are many small areas of repair to parts of the gesso mouldings - see images.
