-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-

A Georgian mahogany chest of drawers. Having developed an abundance of character and rich warm patina to the figured mahogany.

c1790.

To the top of the chest is a moulded edge which is over an arrangement of four graduating cock-beaded drawers, all with elm linings and of fine dove-tail construction. With swan-neck brass handles and original locks and escutcheons.

Each drawer is strong and sturdy and open smoothly and easily.

Standing on bracket feet.

In excellent antique condition. Oodles of character and a warm patina. Replacement handles, stylistically and age correct. One lock replacement in the bottom drawer.

Very solid sturdy and strong.
