Stunning late 19th century French double armoire in excellent condition inside and out.

It dates from the late 1800s and is made from solid walnut with an oak back and shelves.

It has its beautiful bowed sides that are so hard to find.

It has an incredible amount of hand carved detail to its crest, sides (so unusually) doors, legs and base.

Internally it has 2 hanging rails (front to back) and 4 removable shelves (one not in photo). The original oak shelves jane beautiful hand carved edges.

It has been treated for woodworm.
