This magnificent late Georgian bow-fronted mahogany chest of drawers (Circa 1830) stands at an impressive 1.35 metres high. Its fine construction, elegant design and attractive well-figured grain and surface colour not only pay testament to its maker but also to its previous owners, who, as you can see from the images, have treasured it over the ensuing years. The 6 spacious drawers retain all of their original gilded brass handles and slide in and out effortlessly. Remarkably, after two hundred years of use and changing atmospheric conditions, the only visible movement in its mahogany carcase is the shallowest of ripples that run across its top.
