Description

This is a most attractive late 19th century 3/4 size bed in solid pitch pine dating from around 1870.

The bed is beautifully inlaid with fruitwood marquetry designs of entwined roses onto a good quality Birds Eye maple veneer which gives lovely contrast to the solid pitch pine frame. This has its original side rails and comes with a timber latt base so simply requires a 3/4 size mattress 120 cms by 180 cms which are readily available online.

The bed measures 144 high at 5he Head by 130 cms wide by 195 cms long overall. The base board is 90 cms in height.
