Description

A stunning antique Swedish bergere sofa in leather and carved oak. This was recently imported from Sweden, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

The quality is outstanding, the solid oak frame has beautifully intricate and crisp carving throughout. It is very sturdy, well built and comfortable. The cushions are feather filled, the leather is all original with a gorgeous colour tone and patina.

We have had the frame re-polished and the leather has been revived by our leather restorer. The condition is excellent for its age, with just some very minor wear. There are a couple of tiny repairs to very small nicks to the leather in the back rest, seen in the images.
