Description

Neat little early 19th.c. mahogany daybed or chaise longue c.1830. Just 59" long. Elegant asymmetrical shaped back and raised ends over a sprung seat with loose cushion and two bolsters all upholstered in a soft green and gold striped velvet (continued at the rear). Mahogany frame with curving fronts and scrolling terminals to the ends. Mahogany plinth raised on bracket feet with carved scroll detail at front and sides of the front feet. Some old repairs to the frame, generally good condition with clean and serviceable upholstery.
