A fabulous 2 seater Victorian sofa and matching armchair in nice condition.
We have classified the sofa as a 2 seater although technically a small 3 seater is the correct term.
Each piece exudes a classic appeal with great shaping. The deep seated armchair is a very pleasing place to relax and the sofa is of generous enough proportions to allow luxury of space to each occupant.
Below we have shown an image of the underside with the bottom cloth peeled back (it has obviously been re-fitted since) to show the quality of the traditional full re-upholster that has taken place on both pieces. The result is a robust and strong suite which will last for decades. The covering of the suite is in a soft velour. For the purposes of accuracy we note that there are, under close inspection, some lights marks to the fabric which may well easily clean off. Overall though both are clean and presentable and ready for use. Both are from a smoke and pets free environment.
The castors on which each piece is mounted are 'easy glides'. They are not visable due to the skirt of fitted and do make the sofa and armchair very easy to move for hoovering purposes.
The cushions are traditionally feather filled and produce the the expected 'big squashy feeling' making them comfortable and supportive to sit on.
