Ridgeways pale blue stoneware jugs with hand painted decoration. Known from the Ridgeways pattern book as Pompeii. Urn and anchor mark dating from around 1830/1840. One has a Britannia metal lid which would have been commissioned by the retailer. Beautiful modelling and well decorated. The largest jug has restoration to the spout, please see close-up image. Private collection. Dimensions given are for the larger of the three.
