Description

Rare Early Antique Oak Mouseman Motto Bed

A superb quality solid oak early piece of original Robert Thompson Mouseman furniture that dates from the early 1930’s. A very decorative Mouseman single Motto bedstead that reads, Time and Tide Stay for no Man. The early trademark Mouseman mouse is inset in an intaglio style, all the beds surfaces are adzed and all a fabulous colour. Bolts together very easily, Standard UK single size, all pegged construction and with a later, bespoke divan base. Excellent, clean condition and with interesting provenance. We have a similar Mouseman Motto bed available too.
