Elias Mollineaux Bancroft R.Cam.A.Died 1924.Landscape painter in oil and watercolour.Married to artist Louisa Mary Bancroft.Lived Manchester.Exhibited 56 works at Manchester City Art Gallery,19 works at RA,93 at the Royal Cambrian Academy,10 at RBA,16 at the Walker Art Gallery,Liverpool and elsewhere. ‘ Interior of a Manor House’ signed watercolour dated 1902,image size 54x75cms,framed size 80x100 cms.Accomodated in its original heavy stepped oak frame.A most impressive watercolour which epitomises the splendour of the Edwardian era.
