Lovely pair of mid 19th century pewter plates, c1850. Most probably continental they have nice scalloped edges , decoration to the rim and a central decorative armorial shield/coat of arms. The central shield is decorated with images of bees, a sickle and other traditional motifs. Both have aged well with good colour and the plates would display well in a modern or traditional setting. Overall condition is good with no obvious issues.
