A very sweet small Regency rosewood chest of drawers.
The drawers internally constructed from mahogany with fine dove-tailing. The beautifully shaped brass handles are replacements and date from the mid 18th century, so are earlier than the chest, but work wonderfully.
Panelled sides, again with the most glorious colour and figuring to the rosewood.
Standing on bracket feet.
Wonderful warm patination and character throughout
