E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The pair of doors having pleated silk panels within arched moulded frames with 'Shell' carved surmounts. The interior having 2 adjustable shelves now held in place by upright divisions. The doors flanked by recessed pillars decorated with carved leaf surmounts with a moulding running down to a further leaf carving to base. All on plinth base. There is a stencil makers mark inside the left hand door for Holland & Sons and a reference number 1934 to top edge of righthand door.
