Antique Georgian Oak Linen Press Wardrobe Armoire C1780 Wdb6149/22.11

Description

Lovely antique george 111 oak linen press and dating from around 1780. It has a cornice top with deep frieze above two double panelled doors and internally there are two fixed shelves. These could easily be removed an a hanging rail installed if required. To the base there are three long graduatinbg drawers all of which are oak lined with later brass handles but totally in keeping with the period. It is moulded to the base and stands on lovely bracket feet.

The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality oak and oozing the charm and character of the georgian period.

Measures: 79" high to top X 22" deep X internal depth 18" X 47" wide
