Antique Regency Mahogany Clothes Press Wardrobe Armoire C1800 Wdb6148/22.11

Description

Antique regency mahogany clothes press and dating from aorund 1800. It has a cornice top above two panelled doors with brass divider to the centre and key escutcheons with working key and internally the original trays have been removed and a brass hanging rail installed. To the base there are two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with later brass handles but are very much in keeping with the period. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet.

The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the regency period.

Please note that the colour is slightly darker than shown.

Measures: 78" high X 22" deep X internal depth 19.5" X 50" wide
