Description

This is a wonderful original Victorian leather chesterfield in superb condition with the most fabulous colour to the hand dyed leather. The sofa has a very attractive shape with serpentine front and low deep scrolling arms and back with buttoning throughout. The frame is good and solid and the leather is in excellent condition throughout with years of service yet to give. This is raised on stout solid mahogany legs with original brass and porcelain castors.

Of good size and proportions this easily seats three people measuring 210 cms overall in length. The sofa is 88 cms deep by 66 cms high and the seating area measures 144 cms wide by 54 cms deep with the seat surface being 40 cms from the floor.

A very handsome example and the best colour I’ve ever seen.
