Antique Pair Superb Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Single Beds C1900 Wdb6139/15.11

Description

Superb pair antique edwardian mahogany inlaid beds. The headboards have a cornice top to the shaped top rail with dental moulding and to the centre a satinwood and ebony inlaid panel. This is above a central squared panel with inlaid stringing to the edges and a larger central oval strung panel of onlay with central satinwood and ebony motife. The footboards are of a bowed shape with a moulded flat top rail and above the same central panel as the headboard. They have their original screw in irons and stand on short squared legs on castors.

Of superb quality and in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the period.

Each bed measures: 51" high to headboard X 34" high to footboard X 80" long X 36" wide
