Description

As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this most stylish mid 20thc Showa period Cloisonné enamel vase by the highly regarded Ando Jubei company, this unusual bulbous squat shaped vase is decorated with a central band of pink and cream clouds in Musen enamel, interspersed with striking gold coloured native grasses decorated with traditional wired Cloisonné , the rims have been mounted in solid silver, while the base of this splendid vase bears the seal of the Ando Company as well as a stamped silver mark to the rim , a real statement piece for a room setting or as a delightful addition to your Cloisonne enamel or Japanese works of art collection .
