Country House George III Antique Mahogany Chest on Chest
This Spectacular 18th Century Country House George III Antique Mahogany Chest on Chest is full of wonderful genuine charm and character and dates from ca. 1780. It has a moulded cornice with dental moulding above two over six graduating Walnut lined drawers with brass swan neck handles and cock-beaded edges. This splendid Georgian chest stands on shaped bracket feet and splits into two sections for easy removal. It has also has a brushing slide with two brass handles. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of antique wax finish.
