Vicky Thomas Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.

There are historical riveted patches, all of which add to the overall beauty of the piece, and the pan is finished with a wrought iron hanging handle.
The finish and patina is wonderful, and has been left unpolished so that the buyer may choose how they would like it to be displayed.

The condition has surface ware consistent with its age, all of which adds to its charm. There are a few holes worn around the base of the pan, (please see the photographs) however it is completely sturdy - just no longer water tight, The holes cannot be seen unless its turned over, so it would be perfect as a log bin, or other storage holder. Sadly its days as an apple butter pan or cooking pot are probably behind it!!

It stands 39cm high, 57cm across and 62 cm across the handle brackets.
It really is a truly beautiful item, and would look fabulous in any home.
