Description

A truly impressive, large study depicting Norwich cathedral. Beautifully detailed, the spire piercing the clouds above. Numerous figures can be seen below, two gentlemen taking time to discuss the buildings structure, and a family with a small child who is pointing at two figures walking towards one of the cathedrals side entrances.

Presented within a glazed good quality swept gilt frame which bears losses.

Framers label verso for Newman of 24 Soho Square ‘Every requisite for Drawing & Painting’ along with a pencil inscription reading ‘Norwich Cathedral’
