Description

Large early 20th century Southeast Asian/Thai statue of Buddha, c1930.Hollow cast in bronze or brass, I think bronze given the weight (6.8kg), this is a large, imposing and highly decorative example which would display well in a modern or traditional setting. It has good detail and the face has a serene look with hand painted eyes. Overall condition is good in line with age and use with only minor surface wear/marks.
