Description

Interesting pair of late 19th century iron armour gauntlets, c1880. These are good quality Victorian copies of medieval armour. They are well cast and heavy at 2.2 kg combined weight, with an articulated thumb and nice fine detail to the thumb, fingers, knuckles etc. The metal has taken on good colour/patina and overall condition is good with only very minor surface wear. They would display really well in a modern or traditional setting. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me if you would like to view the item or have any questions.
