Regency Mahogany Four Door Breakfront Wardrobe

An impressive late Regency/William IV flame mahogany breakfront wardrobe of super quality and dating to circa 1830. It features a tall arched centre section with turned columns and scrolling mouldings to full length arched panelled doors flanked by a further pair of arched panelled doors and all standing on a plinth base. With a decorative hand carved floral motif to the centre of the moulded cornice, the centre doors open to reveal a short hanging or hat space above five long graduated drawers with brass handles, the side section each provide full length hanging spaces. With brass catches and working locks and keys.
 
Super original colour and patina and although not signed the quality would suggest a maker such as Gillows of Lancaster. There are signs of age that should be expected for a piece of this age including some filling to veneer chips on side faces, some marks from the doors opening and chips to the bottoms of the columns and a loss of moulding to the bottom of the cent...
