Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers with Ogee Feet C1800

George III period, mahogany straight front four height chest of drawers, Circa 1800. This chest of drawers with oblong shaped well figured top with moulded edge. Over bank of drawers, configured 2 small drawers over 3 full width drawers, all graduated in height, with cock-beaded edges, original brass knob handles, original brass escutcheons and locks. All raised on ogee bracket feet. Solid mahogany frame, oak drawer sides, pine drawer linings.

A very handsome, high quality and original chest of drawers. In good working order and ready to use.

Dimensions:

This chest of drawers measures approximately 90.5 cm (35.5") tall, 113.5 cm (44") wide, and 55 cm (22") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This original chest of drawers is in a very good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Good colour, polish and patina throughout. Some odd and minor marks and blemishes, in keeping with age and use. Odd minor quality sympathetic repairs. Original handles, escutcheons and locks. One handle has been moved and then put back at some point. Another handle has a round headed bolt through the front of it. Neither are particularly obviously unless you are looking for them. In good working order, very serviceable and ready to use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.

A 30-day return period is offered for peace of mind. Items must be returned in the same condition as supplied.
