Superb quality antique edwardian inlaid mahogany breakfront triple wardrobe compactum and dating from around 1900. It has a cornice top with dental satinwood inlay above a deep frieze with inlaid of swags and tails and with a bow fronted centre of two cross banded and oval panelled doors with inlay to the centre and with original lock and key and with internal shelf. This is above four graduating bow fronted drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with original handles. To either side there is a double panelled door with the panels being cross banded and with inlaid swags and tails to the centre and the top panel having an inlaid diamond motiffe. Internally to the back of each door is a full length mirror and there is a sheld with brass rails and hooks. There is also a rail to the centre which stops the clothes from becoming trapped in the door and to keep them in line. The whole stands on a plinth base and it separates into 5 pieces for ease of transporting.

This is a superb quality wardrobe with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany and it measures:

83" high X 26" deep X internal depth 20" (23" centre) X 78" wide
