Raised on fantastic original ogee feet of bold and curvaceous form terminating with carved scrolled ears. All of the drawers in the finest cuts of figured mahogany being fully oak lined and retaining the original fine pierced brass handles and escutcheons throughout. With original working locks and keys. The sides having the unusual feature of original brass carrying handles to the top and base. The excellent quality of mahogany and laminated blocks behind the feet and the overall gravitas of the piece gives a strong indication to Chippendale's workshop or at least one of the renowned St Paul's Churchyard makers.
